This is the way I mounted the cooler. The brackets are metal strips that I picked up at a hardware store. They are attached to the cross members with sheet metal screws. The cooler came with brackets attached that I then bolted to the metal strips. I initially mounted it flat but have since raised the front and dropped the rear about an inch for better air flow.
